Natural Skin Care - Is It Worth Hype?

Natural Skin Care - Is It Worth Hype?

So is natural skin care really worth all hype? You beat what it is!

There are so many reasons that I prefer natural skin care, with simplicity and affordability are among the most important. However, security has always been and will always be the main reason I continue to choose and love natural skin care.

I never really thought of what I put on my skin. I have happily bought what was the latest and best according to the newspapers. It never really happened to me that I actually wanted to know what was in the products I used as long as they did what they promised to do. Once I had been diagnosed with the worst case of contact dermatitis that my doctor had ever seen after switching to a new foundation, I decided to start paying attention to what I put on my skin.

All that was required was a small examination of the ingredients found on the bottles of my holy degrees skin care products, and I would say shocked and surprised to quickly find natural options. As it turns out, contact dermatitis should have been the least of my worries. I could not believe what I had put on my skin every day.

Do you know what you are feeding your skin?

Lets face it, our skin has become one of our most valuable assets. Every day, we are bombarded with images of people who are capable of perfect skin on television and in newspapers, and we feel the constantly growing pressure to have perfect skin too!

The truth of truth is this ...

Many experts agree that the secret to beautiful skin is not only aware of what we put in our body, but also what we put on it. Have you ever taken the time to review the ingredient list of your favorite skin care products? If so, you probably wondered what you read was presented in another language.

Most skin care ingredients are really hard to pronounce, and even worse, we have no idea what most are.

A quick look at a typical ingredient list, and we are often greeted with words like ...

Disodium EDTA

Methyl paraben

Propylene glycol (PEG)

Sodium lauryl / laureth sulfate

Triclosan and triclocarban

Triethanolamine (TEA)

While long complex ingredient lists make it difficult for most of us to decide whether what we apply to our skin is safe, consumer advocacy groups Environment The working group has come a long way to enable us to investigate the safety of these suspected ingredient lists.

Conventional skin care products: Do they harm our health?

Keeping our skin in top shape can be quite the challenge, making us frustrated and our pockets empty. And with all negative publicity, chemicals receive filled cosmetics, we also wonder if our money is the only thing we sacrifice when we hit the expensive creams and serum.

Many of us become more aware of what we put in our bodies. We have started choosing organic fruits and vegetables and looking for filling our diets with more whole foods filled with suspected hormones and preservatives. Why then do we continue to feed our skin with products that correspond to the chemically charged, highly processed junk food we refuse to eat?

Apart from causing severe allergic reactions, some of the toxic ingredients used in everyday skincare products may have potential to cause more serious diseases, including:

fertility Problems

Diabetes

Alzheimers

cancer

Our skin is said to absorb up to 60 percent of the substances we apply to it, including potential carcinogenic chemicals found in many conventional skin care products. Medical researchers are increasingly concerned about the long-term effects of the many dubious chemicals you and I expose our skin and body to every day.

There is no need to sacrifice health for beauty

We have a choice.

For thousands of years, women looked at nature for their skin care needs. Nature, of course, offers all the ingredients that our skin needs to be fresh and beautiful.

Before shelling out the potential for toxic skin care products, knowledgeable marketers get us to use every day, considering trying to use natural alternatives instead.
